Summary
VASCO Data Security is looking for a ‘Software Test Engineer’ to join its R&D Hardware in ‘s Hertogenbosch.
The ‘Software Test Engineer’ will be actively involved in the development lifecycle of VASCO’s product line and will help VASCO to deliver products that guarantee high quality. This includes creation and execution of test plans, functional acceptance testing, boundary and brake tests, performance testing and regression testing.
Profile
You have a Master degree or equivalent by experience.
You have minimum 3 years of experience in software testing.
Experience in System Testing, Regression, Integration and user acceptance Testing is essential.
You are able to analyze product specifications and translate these in cases.
Assets:
- Test methodology Certified
- Affinity with mass-production
- Knowledge of cryptography & security
- Basic electronics
- Chip cards & chip card readers
You are quality minded, precise and result driven.
Fluent in English (written and verbal), Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
Responsibilities
Development of test plans, test cases to an appropriate depth and breadth.
Execution of test plans in an efficient manner to ensure a quality product is delivered.
Produce test reports.
Assist developers to understand and correct issues by providing appropriate level of information, analysis and demonstration.
Successful verification of resolved issues raised in bug tracking system.
Development and advancement of testing procedures.
Development and maintenance of re-usable test documentation, materials and other resources.
Participate in user documentation reviews.
Interaction with global QA to resolve issues and provide explanations.
Maintain test environment.
Reproduce support cases.
